On Thursday, ex-Minnesota cop Derek Chauvin was sentenced in federal court to 21 years for violating George Floyd’s civil rights during the May 2020 arrest that ended with Floyd’s death. Federal prosecutors had sought a 25-year sentence for Chauvin, 46. The federal sentence will be served concurrently with the 22-year sentence he is already serving for Floyd’s second-degree murder, which is a state charge, according to the Star Tribune. Colline Rees had shelled out £3,000 on the week-long break to Tenerife and went to get the beauty treatment the day before she flew out. The upset customer says she was left with the botched brows which left her too embarrassed to pose in family holiday snaps.
